### Problem Statement

Peer-to-peer payment methods are too complicated for casual transactions in a cross-border setting. They put all the burden on the person sending the payment. This includes collecting and checking payment details such as account numbers, personal data, crypto addresses, and so on. Senders need to figure out payment routes, often involving multiple steps with on-/off ramps or third-party remittance services. 

This whole process easily takes up 10-20 minutes (and much longer if it involves cross-chain or on-ramp steps).

### Solution

HandlPay turns social media usernames into cross-chain payment handles with built-in transaction privacy.

This enables a smooth peer-to-peer payment experience abstracting multiple complexities: no exchange of transfer details, no need for knowledge about payment routing, or fluency in crypto.

When sending a crypto or card payment with HandlPay, there is no thinking required.
