Getting Started for Senders

HandlPay turns people's social media usernames into payment handles which they can receive funds of various currencies with. All you need to send a payment is someone's handle, no other info required.

Sign up is only required for the receiver. For a full breakdown of how to sign up, check out the "Getting Started for Receivers" page.

How to send a payment to someone's handle:

2.1 Head To app.handlpay.comarrow-up-right

You can either head to our app or click on a payment link that someone gave you.

  1. Input the person's social media username in the field

  2. Select the social media platform associated

  3. Click "Pay"

Handle Options:

  • Gmail

  • Instagram

  • WhatsApp

  • Telegram

  • X

2.2 Select a Currency

Whether you prefer to pay in fiat, credit, or decit card, your payment will be routed via crypto currency (which is the fastest and cheapest way to send a payment in 2026).

For this reason you must select which currency you want your payment to be routed in, the currency you select doesn't matter as you will only be purchasing and sending the exact value to you to send.

Current currency options:

  • $USDC

  • $CC

2.3 Select A Payment Method

There is no need to ask the receiver what currency they prefer to receive, we will automatically convert the currency if needed and route it where appropriate, for you.

Available payment methods:

  • Credit/Debit Card (Includes an ApplePay option)

  • Crypto

  • Bank transfer (coming soon)

2.3 If You Selected "Credit/Debit Card"

  1. You will be forwarded to our partner Mercuryo's on-ramp where you will purchase the currency you selected to be able to send it.

  2. Once you hit send, there is nothing left for you to do

2.4 If You Selected "Crypto"

  1. Select if you want to cover the gas fees or if you want the receiver to cover them

  2. Connect your crypto wallet and complete the transaction

Once you have sent your payment you will be directed to a confirmation screen where a transaction ID confirming the transaction will display. Feel free to save this information, make another payment, or create an account.
